Pyramid Project:

Pyramid Project is a social enterprise set up by Paul West. The Isle of Sheppey is known for being one of the most deprived areas in Kent. After working in the sector for many years Paul has noticed the lack of opportunities for young adults. We work specifically with young adults aged between 16-14 who are not in education or employment, we specialise in those who lack confidence and struggle socially. Pyramid Project offer a variety of courses including functional skills Maths and English, preparation for work, Employability skills, Health and Social care, physical and mental wellbeing. Many of our young people are socially excluded and are unsure on how to progress in life, our aim is to give them confidence and guidance so at the end of the programme they can gain work and have a clear view of where they would like to be in life. We pride ourselves on delivering these courses in small groups to ease our learners in and build confidence. We have a small team of staff looking for opportunities to progress our young adults at the end of our programme.
