Our Partners

There are different organisations working from The Hope Street Centre that can offer support. If you would like some more information please contact us.

Pyramid Project:

Pyramid Project is a social enterprise set up by Paul West. The Isle of Sheppey is known for being one of the most deprived areas in Kent. After working in the sector for many years Paul has noticed the lack of opportunities for young adults. We work specifically with young adults aged between 16-14 who are not in education or employment, we specialise in those who lack confidence and struggle socially. Pyramid Project offer a variety of courses including functional skills Maths and English, preparation for work, Employability skills, Health and Social care, physical and mental wellbeing. Many of our young people are socially excluded and are unsure on how to progress in life, our aim is to give them confidence and guidance so at the end of the programme they can gain work and have a clear view of where they would like to be in life. We pride ourselves on delivering these courses in small groups to ease our learners in and build confidence. We have a small team of staff looking for opportunities to progress our young adults at the end of our programme.

Shaw Trust:

Shaw Trust is a charity helping to transform the lives of young people and adults across the UK and internationally.
Our specialist services help people gain an education, enter work, develop their career, improve their wellbeing or rebuild their lives. As a charity we add value to every service we deliver by investing back into the people and communities we support.
Shaw Trust is one of the largest 25 charities in the UK. Comprising Shaw Trust, Prospects, Ixion and Shaw Education Trust, we use our 75 years’ combined experience to support people to develop their potential. By joining together we are working to reach one goal: to help transform the lives of one million young people and adults each year.
Our 4,000 staff and 1,000 volunteers provide joined-up services for government, local authorities, combined authorities, employers, stakeholders – including the Department for Work and Pensions, Education and Skills Funding Agency, clinical commissioning groups and NHS Trusts – and individuals.
